Are there any wage credits or subsidies?
Generally, there would be wage credit f you hire a Singaporean or permanent resident, subject to minimum criteria. We will advise what they are on a per hire basis. Note that any credits are available at the discretion of the funder.Are there any recruiting fees?
We do not charge hiring or recruitment fees.What happens if I am not happy with a Topptalent candidate?
We allow our clients to begin a trial period up to a maximum of 14 days per talent per position. While we rigorously screen all applicants to ensure talent and intelligence, we understand that not every person will be a perfect fit for every company. For this reason, we allow our clients to work with one talent for each position before they decide on a candidate with whom they are confident and comfortable.How is Topptalent different?

Are English skills ever an issue when working with a Topptalent expert?
No. Each and every Toptal expert writes and speaks fluent English. We comprehensive interviews to ensure they have a high level of proficiency in English and have personalities well-suited to working with western technical teams.How does your screening process ensure quality candidates that meet our requirements?
We screen for communication skills, personality, domain-specific knowledge, and a high level of professionalism. Approximately 25% of applicants pass the screening process.Our process includes a variety of ways to determine skill, network and proficiency, portfolio reviews, case studies, user or market research, project management backlog grooming, formal assessments, as well as live problem-solving sessions as appropriate to the candidate and vertical.We match all candidates with senior Topptalent domain experts for each and every interview, and all applicants complete a test project to demonstrate live proficiency with a project similar to what they would work on in a typical engagement.Geography

In practice, there have only been a few instances where clients have felt it absolutely necessary to bring a Topptalent expert physically on-site. If this truly is a requirement, we can work with you to coordinate relocating an individual or team to your location for a specified period of time.Our network and services
If there isn’t any in-network resource currently available to fulfill the requirements of my request, how long could I expect to wait to work with a new candidate?
It takes us one to four weeks to locate, full screen, and work with every expert before we feel confident enough to admit them to our network and introduce them to a client. We understand your need for expediency, but we also understand the even greater need for quality. At Topptalent, even if we have an extremely promising prospective candidate, we will not place them until we are confident in their ability and experience. Topptalent’s stringent screening process is the most important reason we’re able to maintain a network of the highest caliber talent.Can I hire a full-time worker from Topptalent and bring him/her into our company?
Yes, you can choose between having him/her as a contractor or a direct hire.Do you offer services such as screening, vetting, and testing to help us hire employees outside of the Topptalent network?

Who owns the legal rights to the work created by a Topptalent expert?
The client. Topptalent’s only business is connecting world-class experts to the clients who want to work with them - not intellectual property. Our contracts provide that all work created by a Topptalent candidate is the property of the client, not Topptalent or the candidate.How do we ensure that our IP is protected?
In both contracting and direct hire agreements, there are clauses to say explicitedly that the client owns the IP rights to the work that the talent has provided during the hiring period.Executive positions

How often will I be charged? How are payments and invoices handled?
Every hire, regardless of a direct hire or as a contractor, would begin with a trial of up to 14-days. To begin the trial, companies deposit up to two weeks equivalent to start the candidate on the trial. If the candidate confirms and passes the trial, the deposit would be used to pay for the candidate's time, and the candidate proceeds to work for the client directly under the terms of the employment contract.What methods of payment do you accept?
We currently accept all major credit cards, telegraphic transfer, bank transfer, PayNow, Aspire, Wise and PayPal.What happens if I deem the candidate unsuccessful after the trial?
